Taster sessions and lectures at schools are a fantastic opportunity to directly promote your discipline to potential students and aid future recruitment. However, gaining access to, and successfully exploiting these events requires careful consideration and planning. This session will feature Dr Steven Rossington describing what characteristics have made his events successful, how he funds school visits and what the direct and indirect benefits have been.
